Double Block & Bleed valves at the heart of hydrogen refueling stations ! 🌫

Hydrogen is no longer the energy of the future — it’s already becoming a key player in modern mobility.

To support this transition, MECA-INOX have recently delivered a series of Double Block & Bleed (DBB) valves designed for hydrogen refueling stations.

🎯 Our goal: to ensure maximum safety and reliabiliy in the production and distribution of hydrogen.

These valves play a crucial role in the gaseous hydrogen circuit (40 bar), providing complete fluid isolation and enabling fast, secure line control.

These valves play a crucial role in the gaseous hydrogen circuit (40 bar), providing complete fluid isolation and enabling fast, secure line control.

Thanks to their double sealing system with an intermediate bleed line, they guarantee optimal tightness during maintenance, testing, or shutdown operations — eliminating any risk of leakage.

Compliant with ATEX regulations and validated by Ineris – Institut national de l’environnement industriel et des risques, these valves meet the highest safety requirements for explosion-risk environments. Their proven reliability makes them key components for the safe and continuous operation of hydrogen facilities.

This project highlights our commitment to supporting the deployment of hydrogen refueling stations with sustainable, high-performance solutions tailored to real-world needs.

👏 A big thank you to our teams and partners for their dedication at every stage — from design to delivery!
