💡 But what does that actually mean ?
ISO 15848-1 is a standard that measures a valve’s ability to prevent gas or fluid from leaking into the environment.
In other words :
👉 our valves ensure perfect tightness : what’s supposed to stay inside stays inside, even after a high number of operating cycles.
🏅 The AH and BH classifications correspond to tightness levels measured using Helium:
AH 👉 represents the most stringent sealing level, with the lowest leak rates.
BH 👉 indicates a high-performance level that covers most industrial needs.
🌍 Why does it matter ?
Fugitive emissions contribute to air pollution and cause more than 6 million premature deaths each year.
