Continuing our 2025 site transformation, we are taking another step forward with the commissioning of a ground-mounted solar power plan and on-site EV charging stations – reinforcing our commitment to a more energy-efficient and responsible site. 🌍
Supported by Région Normandie’s Impulsion Environnement programme, this 87.5 kWp ground-mounted solar power plant, operating in 100% self-consumption, now :
– covers 15% of our electricity needs ⚡
– helps avoid 5 tons of CO₂eq per year 🏭
With the installation of five 22 kW charging stations, MECA-INOX is also accelerating the electrification of its company vehicle fleet. These stations are available to all employees, supporting the shift toward more environmentally friendly mobility. 🔌
