Cryogenic valves serving the electronics industry !

MECA-INOX has recently supplied 10 cryogenic valves in DN150 — 8 manual, and 2 motorized for a new gas production unit dedicated to the electronics market.

Our valves will be installed on nitrogen vaporizers with a capacity of 8,000 cubic meters per hour.

A nitrogen vaporizer is equipment used to increase the temperature of gaseous or liquid nitrogen before it is used in an industrial process.

When nitrogen is stored in liquid form (at –196 °C), it is often vaporized for gaseous use — but the gas remains extremely cold after vaporization. 🥶

A vaporizer is therefore essential to:

  • Raise the nitrogen temperature to near ambient conditions,
  • Prevent condensation or frost formation on pipelines,
  • Protect downstream equipment (valves, instruments, reactors, etc.) from thermal shock,
  • Ensure proper efficiency of reactions or purging/inerting operations.

Application :

💨 Fluid : Gaseous nitrogen

🌡️Temperature : –10 °C to +20 °C

🗜️ PN : PN 15
